Location: Confluence Park in Denver (go to the WEST side of the Platte River, just east of Starbucks. Your GPS might show you the wrong side. Also, you may need to park on the east side of the park.)

Imaginate 2024 Artists

David Michael Boyd

David grew up in Boulder, Colorado, served in the US Air Force, lived in Vienna, Austria for 12 years and has played music in 19 countries. He’s an award-d winning guitarist (first place in two guitar competitions), a songwriter and Blues/rock performer. David is also the founder/director of Blues Behind Bars and the Living Fire Arts Network, which together with Confluence Ministries of Denver, is bringing Imaginate! to the city of Denver. With Blues Behind Bars, he’s been performing in prisons since 2009 and writing blues songs with inmates in Colorado.

Peaches Embry

Valerie Peaches Embry is truly a talented and seasoned musical powerhouse with over forty years of experience. Her voice resonates with the passion she has always shared and lived within and around her music. Her singing career started back as a young child while singing in a full harmony gospel choir, on the back porch with her father’s jazz band and in the neighborhood blues jam sessions. “Music was everywhere and in everything and still is for me.” After moving from the Midwest to Colorado, Peaches sang in classic jazz groups and transitioned to blues. Of course, being from the Midwest, R&B was always in the mix.

She began connecting and collaborating with many area musical favorites including Sam Mayfield, and through musical hubs like the Linden's Bar in Old Town Fort Collins, she grew and shared the stage with many notable national blues acts and groups. She feels blessed to have connected with so many talented artists.

Her songwriting has become an extension of her “voice” which “launches from an even deeper place.” So, when you hear Peaches perform, be ready to share in an experience. You will hear, feel, absorb, and enjoy all at the same time.

Phil Donaldson

Phil Donaldson is a Fort Collins musician who fuses R&B, Pop and Rock to merge the soul of Motown with the inventiveness of David Bowie. He is a singer, keyboardist, composer, arranger and producer who creates memorable musical experiences. Phil honed his music skills at the Interlochen Arts Academy and McGill University, later moving to New York City to perform in bands, cabaret and theater productions. He has also composed and arranged for theater, video and church worship services. Phil currently co-leads and sings with the FoCo Motown Revue, a 10-piece ensemble celebrating Classic Motown.

Tony Valdez

Tony Valdez developed a lifelong passion for music from childhood. He has sung in a number of groups and most recently founded the vocal jazz-influenced ensemble band D-City Junction with a vision of melding traditional jazz with contemporary styles, showcasing musical and cultural diversity. Tony is of Italian, Mexican, Jewish, and European descent. He is driven to push the boundaries of musical expression and to celebrate unity through music.

Eric Herrera

Eric “Many Winds” Herrera’s heritage includes that of Blackfeet Indian, European Hispanic and German, has been a musician for over 36 years with talents spanning brass, string, percussion and flute instruments. As a performing artist in both contemporary Christian and native works, the Native American flute is his most heart-felt talent and considers the play an honoring of his Native American heritage. Through his music, his intent is to tell the Native American story and to enrich the lives of those who hear it.

Jude Del Hierro

Jude Del Hierro is the Pastor, Executive Director, and Founder of Confluence Ministries, an evangelical outreach based in Denver, Colorado. He may best be known as the songwriter behind More Love, More Power.

Stephanie Lucero-White

Stephanie began singing at the age of four years old while her dad led worship at their small church in southern Colorado. Her heritage is Spanish, Portuguese, and Indigenous American. She has been formally trained in Italian opera, and has had the opportunity to work with many amazing musicians in the Denver area. To Stephanie, music is a universal language. Music creates a feeling. And her hope is to share her God given gift of singing with as many people as possible.

Agustín Galán Cardozo

Agustin is originally from Bogota, Colombia in South America. He arrived in the United States in September 2022 and prior to that graduated from the Instituto Canzion Colombia School of Music in Coumbia, with a degree in "instrumental performance" focused on electric and acoustic guitar. He has worked in music academies and schools for 10 years and has been part of rock, gospel and fusion bands. For Agustin, music is an endless language. A tool to bring a transformative message to the next generation, and an eternal path of constant learning. And a gift from God to connect us with Him.

Chris Hearns

Chirs is a local Denver vocalist bringing a silky smooth and soulful powerful voice to our Imaginate! band!! He's a great rock, R&B and Pop singer and has sung all over the Denver area and beyond.
